Dans la foul\u00e9e, il a entrepris une premi\u00e8re s\u00e9rie de voyages : Indon\u00e9sie, Tha\u00eflande, N\u00e9pal, Inde&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Ses premi\u00e8res photographies en noir et blanc furent avant tout le reflet de sa rencontre des autres. Pour Nicolas, la photographie est une mani\u00e8re de voir et de partager les exp\u00e9riences du quotidien. C\u2019est aussi un dialogue respectueux et silencieux avec la vie qui r\u00e9serve bien des surprises et des d\u00e9tours. En t\u00e9moigne son livre sur l\u2019Inde \u00ab India, A Spiritual Journey \u00bb paru en 2010. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, et sans renier ses premi\u00e8res orientations, c\u2019est dans les paysages naturels et les grands espaces sauvages que Nicolas trouva une nouvelle source d\u2019inspiration. Il s\u2019est principalement concentr\u00e9 sur certaines r\u00e9gions d\u2019Afrique ; en Namibie, Tanzanie, Botswana et Kenya, attir\u00e9 depuis son enfance par l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019un jour photographier les \u00e9l\u00e9phants.
